Site Manager for Ground and Infrastructure Works, Subproject 3 Nolby – Double Track Dingersjö–Kubikenborg We are seeking a site manager for Trafikverket to work with site management, monitoring, and coordination of ground and infrastructure works. This is a consulting assignment with a base location in Sundsvall and requires physical presence on-site at least four days per week. Assignment start as soon as possible, but no later than 2026-11-01. Utilization rate is 80-100%, with the possibility of at least 50% during the period November 2026 to January 2027. From February 2027, the utilization rate shall be above 80%. About the Company Trafikverket is driving the development of infrastructure within the Double Track Dingersjö–Kubikenborg project, which is part of the East Coast Railway Dingersjö–Sundsvall program. The project includes the expansion of approximately ten kilometers of double track and contains several technical areas within railway construction. About the Role We are seeking a site manager for ground and infrastructure works for subproject 3 Nolby within the Double Track Dingersjö–Kubikenborg project. This is a consulting assignment with a base location in Sundsvall and requires physical presence on-site. The subproject includes, among other things, new railway facilities, bridges, road relocations, support structures, noise protection, and geotechnical reinforcement measures. Role and Responsibilities - Monitor that the contractor builds according to contract documents. - Contribute production expertise in the preparation of tender documents. - Participate in production planning. - Prepare decision-making materials for notifications and financial settlement. - Manage and coordinate monitoring of safety and environmental (MSS) measures. - Ensure that the contractor delivers materials according to the delivery plan in the final phase. - Monitor and manage deviations from construction specifications. - Follow up on delivery quality through monitoring of the contractor's quality management and self-inspection. - Participate in site inspections. - Participate in safety and environmental rounds. - Contribute to the project's risk management. - Be present during critical work such as connections and track work. - Handle matters in the project's information management system. - Control the contractor's receipts. - Participate in inspections and approvals. - Follow up on the contractor's materials for relation documents, facility data, and operational and maintenance instructions. - Establish and conduct control programs and control plans for own work. - Keep a project log and monitor the contractor's log. Required Competencies 1. At least 5 years of experience as a site manager, work supervisor, project manager, or site foreman with responsibility for progress and financial monitoring. 2. Experience acting as a site manager, work supervisor, project manager, or site foreman in complex ground and infrastructure projects valued at a minimum of 50 million SEK where work in proximity to existing structures and handling of cables and utilities have been relevant. 3. Documented knowledge in practical application of AMA. 4. Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. 5. Class B driver's license. 6. Completed BASÄSKYDD course. Additional Qualifications 1. High expertise in ground and infrastructure works in built environments with good understanding of problem-solving, management of existing structures, and compliance with work environment requirements. 2. Good ability and experience in planning and establishing traffic arrangements and traffic closures on state roads as well as coordinating traffic matters with external stakeholders. 3. Extensive experience with cable and utility work. 4. Documented training in BASTAB. Assignment Information Assignment Period: The contract applies until 2028-09-30 with the possibility of extension 1+1+1+1+1 years. Scope: Estimated utilization rate 80–100%. From November 2026 to January 2027, a lower utilization rate of at least 50% is acceptable. From February 2027, the utilization rate shall be above 80%. Placement Location: Sundsvall. Physical presence is required at least four days per week and at least 80% of work time on-site.
