Chef
Ostbutiken Odengatan is a 100-year-old delicatessen specialized in handmade food. We serve our customers over the counter in the shop, with catering and our Restaurant and private dining room at the highest level. We are now looking for a chef with solid broad knowledge who can help run the kitchen today and be part of developing us forward. First and foremost, we need you to be skilled at producing and prepping. Both with high and consistent quality, at a fast pace, but also to develop us and our products. You have at least 8 years of experience behind you, preferably some experience from different operations, both à la carte, catering and small-scale production, but without having become tired and bitter. Since your own performance is what creates our profitability, there is good pay with flexible working hours for the right person. We can offer a 4-day week.
Cold Kitchen Server

We are a small, specialized shop at Odengatan 33 - an address that has housed a dairy and cheese business for nearly 100 years – and we have a goal: to become Europe's best delicatessen shop. We make that promise to our producers, our customers, and to each other, every day we open our doors. We import our products directly from small, dedicated producers, people who pour their hearts and souls into their raw materials. We take that responsibility seriously when we meet our customers. Those of us who work here share one thing: we genuinely find this industry entertaining, meaningful, and fun. We choose the shop and dining area over the office every day of the week. Customer service is our absolute core competence, and that's the feeling we're looking for in you. About the Position This role suits you if you are a trained chef and have fallen for cold kitchen work, or if you've worked your way through a café operation and feel it's time to take the next step, the step toward greater responsibility. You are responsible for serving – salads, sandwiches, and simple hot dishes. You work as part of a team with a colleague, and together you are responsible for your station running smoothly from morning to evening, as well as preparing catering that is sent out from the kitchen. This is a role we see taking shape in the fall – but we want you to come in and try out the job already now, get to know the environment, and get a clear picture of what is expected of you. What You'll Do With Us ● Handle serving in the shop: salads, sandwiches, and simple hot dishes made to order ● Work together with your colleague and share responsibility for keeping your station running smoothly ● Prepare and dispatch catering from the kitchen ● Switch smoothly between shop opening during the day and closing in the evening Who You Are ● Have a couple of years of experience from a café or kitchen and feel it's time to take the next step ● Curious about flavor combinations, seasonality, and the origins of raw materials ● Self-driven, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility for the whole operation ● Enjoy variety and thrive working at a fast pace with clear expectations Practical Details ● Rotating schedule ● The position starts in the fall; trial work is welcome already now ● We are seeking both full-time and part-time candidates ● We follow collective agreements Send a few lines about yourself and your CV to [email protected]
