These are ordinary housing, special housing, LSS and social psychiatry, HSL and short-term housing, as well as management support. The Care Administration offers meaningful and significant work. The Nursing Unit consists of 24 dedicated employees who work together to provide elderly people with safe and secure care. As a registered nurse with us, you have an important role in creating conditions for good health, well-being, and quality of life. The position involves work within municipal health and medical care in elder care without a fixed placement, which gives you a varied workday where you support the activities of different units based on current needs. 1 position(s). DUTIES We offer independent, developing, and varied work where you have great opportunities to plan and structure your workday based on medical responsibility for our residents. Together with care staff, rehabilitation teams, and other professionals, you work to ensure safe, secure, and person-centered care of high quality. The role involves a varied workday where you work independently in some units and are part of a team with several nurses in others. Common to all our activities is a person-centered approach where collaboration, participation, and good conduct permeate daily work. The assignment includes conducting medical assessments, managing acute situations, and planning, coordinating, and following up on care measures. You also work to promote health and prevent illness to contribute to the well-being and health of the elderly. An important part of the role is to mentor and support care staff as well as to collaborate with family members and other stakeholders regarding the individual's care and support. Documentation is done in the Lifecare HSL journal system. Working hours are mainly during daytime with duty every sixth weekend. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed registered nurse with a few years of experience in the profession. You feel confident in your profession and can independently make medical decisions and handle situations that arise in daily work within elder care. It is advantageous if you have further education in district care, elder care, or psychiatric care. As a person, you are mature, stable, and have good self-awareness. You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks while having good collaboration skills and contributing to a positive work environment. You are flexible and adapt easily when circumstances change. Since an important part of the assignment involves mentoring and supporting care staff, we see that you have pedagogical insight and the ability to adapt your communication based on the recipient's needs and circumstances. You are attentive, accessible, and have professional conduct. You work in a structured manner, plan and prioritize your work efficiently, and have the ability to meet deadlines and create order even in an activity with varying tasks. A Class B driver's license is required as travel during work occurs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. WORK TASKS We are looking for you who wants to work as a resource nurse in a varied and developing role within municipal healthcare. This is a new type of position that gives you the opportunity to get to know several operations and contribute where the need is greatest. As a resource nurse, you work daytime within home healthcare and serve evening shifts three out of every ten weekends in our on-call service. You do not have your own patient responsibility but support our care teams as needed and contribute to good and safe care for patients. The work includes standard nursing tasks such as medical assessments, observations, medication management, specimen collection, wound dressing, infusions, and end-of-life care. You work independently while close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals is an important part of the assignment. Care is provided in the patient's home, both in ordinary and special housing. You collaborate daily with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, home care services, doctors, and the palliative team to create person-centered and coordinated care. During on-call shifts, you are responsible together with engaged colleagues for patients within several of the municipality's operations. Documentation is done in the Lifecare medical records system, and digital signing of, for example, medications is handled via APPVA. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who is a licensed nurse. It is a merit if you have further education as a district nurse or other relevant further education. You are confident, stable, and can remain calm even in pressured situations. As a person, you are self-driven, take responsibility for your work, and move your processes forward in a structured way. You have good ability to adapt to changed conditions and see opportunities in development and change. You collaborate well with others, are attentive in your communication, and build good relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Furthermore, you have pedagogical ability and can tailor information and guidance based on the individual's needs and circumstances. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
