Procurement Specialist at Elicron

This is a role for you who wants to work operatively with procurement while also having influence on how the work is conducted. You get your own responsibility for suppliers and categories, work closely with quotation processes and order flow, and become a natural point of contact both internally and externally in an operation where procurement is business-critical. About the position This is a direct recruitment, which means the recruitment process takes place through Bravura and you are employed directly by Elicron. The products are used globally in areas such as water purification, metal production, energy transmission, and other demanding industrial processes. The company was formed in 2025 through the merger of Swedish Permascand and Dutch Magneto Special Anodes and is today owned by Altor. Elicron has factories in Sweden, the Netherlands, and China, as well as a partner factory in the USA. Learn more on the website: Elicron Responsibilities As a procurement specialist, you are responsible for conducting call-off, project, and miscellaneous purchases and ensuring that deliveries occur according to plan through active delivery monitoring. You continuously work with requesting, reviewing, and evaluating quotations, negotiate terms, and select suppliers based on business and quality criteria before completing the purchase. The role involves close collaboration with quotation engineers, where you support both in the quotation phase toward the customer and in the next step once the order is placed by ensuring prices, lead times, and any updates related to ongoing customer or project matters. You are responsible for placing purchase orders, confirming orders, and following up deliveries in the business system Monitor, as well as for checking and approving supplier invoices, identifying deviations, and safeguarding the company's business interests. The role also includes approving and registering new suppliers and working systematically with evaluation and quality assurance of suppliers within the categories you are responsible for. Here, sustainability is also an important part of the work. You enter into agreements with frequent suppliers and handle complaints, disputes, and warranty matters that arise as part of completed purchases. Procurement work is broad and can encompass both technical materials and processing as well as indirect materials and services, which requires good prioritization skills and a structured approach in a day-to-day environment where needs can vary over time. Education, experience, and personal qualities Higher education degree/vocational qualification in a relevant field (procurement, logistics, economics, or engineering) Experience with operational procurement work, preferably from manufacturing industry Experience working in business systems (preferably Monitor) and handling the entire procurement flow from order to delivery Very good communication skills in dialogue with both internal and external parties Strong knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing In the role, you need to be confident in taking responsibility for your area and driving procurement matters to completion. You communicate clearly and factually, follow up on what you promise, and enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and suppliers. You work in a structured manner, are thorough with details such as prices, terms, and delivery times, and have a natural service focus when interacting with internal functions.
