The Sámi School Board is a state authority with its office, school principal, controllers, HR and case officers in Jåhkåmåhkke. Sámi School is a school form equivalent to primary school with teaching from preschool class to grade 6. The basis for teaching is Sámi culture and the Sámi language according to the curriculum for Sámi school. The Sámi School Board also operates preschool by agreement with respective municipalities. The Sámi School Board has operations in Giron, Gárasavvon, Váhtjer, Jåhkåmåhkke and Dearna. The Sámi School Board arranges distance education in the Sámi languages and supports the development and production of teaching materials for Sámi education. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES You will work as a pool, Sámi language support staff at school but also as a resource. After school hours, your position transitions to being a pool, language support/after-school leader/resource at the after-school center. You have the ability to see all students and take into account their individual conditions. You contribute to their learning during school time and after-school hours. You can see and build on group interaction to develop students' ability to communicate and listen to, interpret and understand others' perspectives and ways of expressing themselves. You enjoy building relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Together with other colleagues in your work team, you are responsible for development, planning, implementation and follow-up/evaluation of activities. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with at least three years of upper secondary education with pedagogical focus or other education that the employer deems suitable. It is advantageous if you have previously worked at an after-school center and/or as a resource. You master Sámi, preferably Lule Sámi, both orally and in writing. You have patience, problem-solving ability and are positive and creative. You are good at seeing possibilities. You have good collaboration skills and an interest in building relationships. You are thorough, flexible and attentive to students' needs and enjoy working with children and young people. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for you who has documented good collaboration skills. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
