About the Workplace The Environmental and Building Administration is a joint administration for Hultsfred and Vimmerby municipalities. We work on issues within environmental and health protection, food safety, tobacco, building permits, detailed planning, housing adaptation, maps, and measurement. We are now seeking an environmental and health protection inspector who wants to work with us toward sustainable community development. Your employment will be with Hultsfred Municipality, but the position involves work in both Hultsfred and Vimmerby, as we have offices in both locations. 1 position(s). Job Duties As an environmental and health protection inspector, you will be part of a team responsible for environmental protection oversight according to environmental law. We are looking for an environmental protection case handler. Work duties can be tailored based on your background. We use the case management system EDP Vision. The work involves frequent contact with businesses, citizens, and other stakeholders, which you must be able to handle professionally and deliver good service. Qualifications You are trained as an environmental and health protection inspector or have other education that we consider equivalent. If you have experience working with contaminated areas, ecology, or shoreline protection, that is a merit. You are an initiative-taking and solution-oriented person who can work both independently and in a group. The work requires that you have a good ability to conduct trustworthy government work in meetings with people and that you express yourself well orally and in writing.
