The school has approximately 350 students who, together with teachers, are organized into work teams. Each work team has a support team consisting of a mentor, student coach, special educator, and counselor who work together to create a good learning environment for our students. Albäcksskolan's student health services consist of a school nurse, two counselors, two special educators, and two special education teachers. The student health team meets every week to develop education in interdisciplinary contexts at all levels of the school. This position is a temporary assignment with start date as soon as possible or by agreement. 6 months of temporary assignment with the possibility of extension. As a special education teacher in language, reading, and writing, you have overall responsibility for following our analysis routine within language, reading, and writing. The analysis routine aims to have systematic work with both mapping and screening, follow-up, and interventions. In your role as special education teacher, you work with mapping and coaching staff to develop the adaptation of teaching so that all students are given increased opportunities to reach the goals. You also work actively with students at both class, group, and individual levels. You are part of the school's student health services and conduct investigations regarding special support in consultation with the special educators at the school. We have Vena School, Silverdalen School, Målilla School, and Emådalskolan in Mörlunda. Schools that all have close access to nature. The schools are led by three principals in close collaboration with each other. We are currently looking for special education teachers specializing in mathematics, reading and writing instruction, or severe language disorders who want to work at our schools. You will be part of a team with several special education teachers and special education specialists for all outer schools. In your role, you will work with guiding, teaching, and assessing students with a focus on both social and pedagogical issues.
