CNC Operator - Turning and Milling

We are now seeking CNC operators in both turning and milling at Enerco Mechpart in Hofors. Here you will work with single-piece production and small series, which demands high precision and professional skill. You will be responsible for programming, setup, and operation of machines and will have a varied role where your expertise truly makes a difference. Responsibilities Work independently with setting up, rigging, and programming CNC machines Work primarily with single-piece production or small series Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications Perform thorough quality controls Ensure high precision in manufactured components Perform ongoing machine maintenance Contribute to improvement work and development of more efficient processes Location: Hofors Scope: Full-time Work Schedule: 2-shift About You You are a meticulous and responsible person who enjoys both independent work and team collaboration. You are technically curious, well-organized, and have an eye for detail. At Enerco, it is important to be flexible, engaged, and willing to develop together with the operation. Qualifications Have several years of experience as a CNC operator in turning and/or milling Have worked with single-piece production or short series Have knowledge of control systems such as Fanuc, Manual Guide, Heidenhain, or equivalent Have experience with drawing reading, measurement techniques, and control measurement Have a B driver's license Meritorious Experience with Edgecam Hold truck and traversing certificates (A1 and B1) We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. We're looking for someone with technical interest who wants to work with machinery in industry. You enjoy working hands-on, are solution-oriented, and have a strong passion for technology. You'll join a dedicated team of 12 people. Want to develop with us? Job Description In our machine shop, we manufacture production tools and spare parts for our entire Hofors operation. You will primarily be setting up, programming, and monitoring CNC machines. Working hours: Shift work, currently 2-shift rotation. Your Skills and Qualifications You have workshop training or equivalent experience and preferably several years of experience with cutting machining and working with CNC-controlled machines. You have knowledge of blueprint reading and measurement techniques. General computer skills and a category B driver's license are required for the position, and you must be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We would particularly appreciate experience in CNC machine programming. Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Edgecam are advantageous. We place great emphasis on personality. You are responsible, safety-conscious, and enjoy collaborating with others. At the same time, you can work independently and take initiative when needed.
