Biomedical Analyst for Laboratory Medicine, Örnsköldsvik

About the Operation Laboratory Medicine is a regional clinic within the health and medical care administration of Region Västernorrland. We are approximately 150 employees in total within the clinic. Operations are conducted within clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, clinical immunology and transfusion medicine. We are available 24 hours a day at our hospitals in Sundsvall, Sollefteå and Örnsköldsvik. Laboratory Medicine is accredited according to Swedac SS-EN ISO 15189. At the unit in Örnsköldsvik, we are approximately 25 licensed biomedical analysts working within the disciplines of clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine. We have a positive spirit within the work group where we are skilled at supporting each other in our work. We are now looking for two biomedical analysts to join us. Within Laboratory Medicine, we offer you stimulating work in an accredited, modern and development-intensive operation. The introduction includes both general information about being employed within Region Västernorrland and specifically at Laboratory Medicine as well as a practical part where the focus is on learning specific tasks at our unit. The employment includes, among other things, work at inconvenient times. The positions are permanent full-time employment with a start date by agreement. Palliative Medicine in Sundsvall consists of a total of 4 full-time nurses. We work together with physicians in a team and care for patients in their homes in collaboration with home healthcare nurses. The unit is located at Sundsvall Hospital and has offices at Ånge Health Center. The role involves working independently, being flexible, and collaborating both within and outside the team as well as with relatives.
