About the Operation The Palliative Medicine operation is a regional activity with locations in 4 cities; Sollefteå, Härnösand, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. Palliative Medicine in Sundsvall consists of a total of 4 full-time nurses. We work together with physicians in a team and care for patients in their homes in collaboration with home healthcare nurses. The unit is located at Sundsvall Hospital and has offices at Ånge Health Center. The role involves working independently, being flexible, and collaborating both within and outside the team as well as with relatives. This is a permanent full-time position with start date by agreement. Based in Sundsvall. Job Responsibilities In addition to standard nursing duties, specific tasks within palliative care are included, such as: Responsible for follow-up of activities/goals in SIP Ensuring that relatives receive adequate support based on their needs Collaborate with patients' relatives in planning patient care Provide support to colleagues Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Is a licensed nurse with specialist training Has work experience as a nurse Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Has good knowledge of English in speech and writing Holds a valid B-class driver's license It is advantageous if you: Have training as a district nurse Have work experience as a nurse in palliative home care Hold a specialist nursing qualification in palliative care For success in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Personal maturity Collaboration skills Emathy Organized Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several of the activities that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
