This is a role for you if you want to work close to the technology and take full responsibility for testing. You drive and conduct tests in test cells, where you combine practical work – such as building up, configuring, and troubleshooting test objects – with analysis of measurement data and interpretation of results. The work requires a good understanding of systems, control, and measurement methodology, where you can independently identify deviations, troubleshoot root causes, and propose technical solutions. You will work on varying assignments, often with prototype and component testing within the automotive industry. Depending on the project, you may work with everything from engine and powertrain testing to verification of individual components, where you are expected to contribute both operatively in the test environment and in technical analysis. The work takes place in close collaboration with customers and colleagues and requires good system understanding and a structured approach. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, conduct, and follow up on engine and component testing according to test plans • Install, set up, and configure test objects in test cells and rigs • Configure measurement systems, hardware, and software prior to testing • Ensure quality of test data and analyze and interpret results • Troubleshoot test setups and systems (HW/SW) and drive improvement initiatives • Document results and prepare technical documentation • Maintain and develop test cell equipment Profile Description: We are looking for someone who is technically curious, analytical, and solution-oriented. You are confident in taking responsibility for your tasks and thrive in an environment where you combine independent work with close team collaboration.
