Learn more about us at www.helwit.se We are now looking for an experienced maintenance and service technician for our factory in Gransholm. Tasks and Responsibilities As a Maintenance and Service Technician, you hold a key role in the operation and are responsible for ensuring our production lines function optimally. You work closely with the factory manager and operators to ensure high operational reliability, quality, and efficiency in manufacturing. In this role, you are responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as identifying, analyzing, and resolving disturbances that affect operations. You work with mechanics, pneumatics, basic electrical engineering, and precision mechanical components in a modern manufacturing environment with high demands on quality and cleanliness. You plan and perform ongoing maintenance work, troubleshoot and address deviations, and ensure that machines and equipment maintain high availability. The work includes adjustments, component replacements, and process optimization to maintain stable and efficient manufacturing. You are also responsible for spare parts management and maintain regular contact with machine suppliers and external service partners as needed. An important part of the role is analyzing production flows and identifying improvement opportunities that can contribute to increased efficiency, quality, and operational reliability. You serve as technical support to the operation and share your knowledge to develop operators' competence and create good conditions for effective collaboration between technical and production teams. You work in a food-grade production environment where high demands are placed on hygiene, quality, and accuracy. This means that structure, responsibility, and a quality-conscious work approach are natural parts of the daily routine. The role involves significant personal responsibility with good opportunities to influence how maintenance and improvement work will be conducted. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: Experience in maintenance, service, or process technical work within manufacturing industry. Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem-solving in production equipment. Good understanding of mechanics, pneumatics, and technical production processes. Ability to see the whole picture in a production flow and understand the connection between technology, quality, and production. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Technical education at upper secondary level or equivalent work experience. It is advantageous for the role to have post-secondary education in a relevant field as well as experience from the food industry or another quality-controlled production environment.
