Company Presentation For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for an assignment at their site in Finspång. The company is an established partner in the energy sector thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment where development opportunities are abundant. This is initially a consulting assignment of approximately 12 months via Unik Resurs with excellent opportunities for extension. Siemens Energy is now seeking an engaged Supplier Quality Engineer who wants to work closely with suppliers, drive improvement initiatives, and contribute to developing tomorrow's energy solutions. About the Role As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be an important part of the team working with supplier qualification and supplier development. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers both nationally and internationally, where you are responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet high quality standards. You will be a key person in developing suppliers' processes, driving improvement initiatives, and ensuring that Siemens Energy delivers high quality to its customers in a cost-effective manner. Your Tasks Qualify suppliers and their manufacturing processes for new and existing products. Conduct supplier assessments and quality audits. Analyze root causes of quality deviations and drive corrective and preventive measures using methods such as 8D and 5 Why. Work actively with supplier development and continuous improvements. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and production, among others. Build long-term relationships with suppliers and ensure high delivery and product quality. Travel is included in the position a few times per year as personal meetings with suppliers are an important part of the work. Your Profile We are looking for someone who Has a university or engineering degree in a relevant technical field. Has experience from manufacturing industry and good understanding of quality work and production processes. Is accustomed to analyzing problems, identifying root causes, and driving improvement work. Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Has experience with international collaboration and thrives in a global environment. Meritorious Experience from management or project leadership roles. Experience in supplier quality or supplier development. Experience with precision casting. Who Are You?
