What you can expect from Biltema
We offer challenging work in an expanding company with great development opportunities! Our core values of Simplicity, Thriftiness, Decisiveness, Order and Tidiness, and Flexibility permeate our entire operation. We view internal mobility positively and therefore prefer to recruit our own staff for vacant positions. We offer good opportunities for those who want to develop their career with us.
What you can expect from the role
You will be an important part of the store's management team with overall responsibility for driving and developing our cashier, customer service and café departments. You will be responsible for planning and monitoring operations, including scheduling, financial accountability and quality work. Your focus is on creating efficient workflows, a good work environment and a top-class service experience.
You will lead your employees through your presence in daily operations and ensure that they are well-trained in procedures for customer service, complaint handling and cash handling. In the café, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with food hygiene and other regulations. You will work closely with the store manager in the joint task of driving the store forward.
This is a permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period. Employment is full-time, 40 hours/week. Working hours vary and include evenings and weekends.
What we expect from you
We are looking for someone with documented management experience in retail. Perhaps you have previously held the role of store manager in a smaller store, where you had overall responsibility for both staff and operations. Or you have worked in a management position with responsibility for staff, sales or operations, without being ultimately responsible, but now feel ready to take the next step in your development. A prerequisite is that you are confident in your leadership, accustomed to making decisions and have a strong drive to develop both people and processes.
It is a merit if you have previously worked with customer service, cashier or café, but the most important thing is that you have a good understanding of how to create efficient teams and high service quality.
As a person, you are decisive, solution-focused and structured. You thrive in a varied environment, are not afraid to pitch in where needed and value order and tidiness around you. You lead by being present, engaged and by setting a good example.
We look forward to receiving your application!
