The Fire and Rescue Service in Arvidsjaur Municipality consists of two fire stations and one rescue guard. We are just over 50 employees, of whom 3 are full-time, 37 part-time, and 8 volunteer firefighters. We are now seeking a full-time Fire Inspector. Duties The Fire Inspector role includes tasks in both operational activities and preventive work. Primarily it involves preventive work and being part of our emergency response. It may also include inspections and permit handling. You will be involved in developing the service's working methods and practices, both internally and in RSR10. We offer you work in a forward-thinking operation with high ambitions. You will have the opportunity to work in a role that will develop both the fire and rescue service and you personally. Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least RIB training and Supervision A as well as experience in inspection work. You must have a driver's license, at least category B. High administrative ability and good ability to express yourself orally and in writing. It is meriting if you: • Have Rescue Leader A or B • Have Supervision B or alternatively Preventive 1 and 2. • Have experience as an instructor in training programs. As a person, you are responsible, have good administrative ability, and are driven and action-oriented. You will be part of a small work team, which places great demands on good teamwork ability. The work is very varied, which means you must be flexible and able to adjust your planning with short notice. Terms The position is full-time and permanent; probationary employment may be applied.
