We're hiring an animal caretaker for the Large Predators section! What will you do daily? Care for large predators – lions, tigers, jackals, etc. – ensuring their daily care and well-being; Maintain cleanliness and order in animal enclosures and their surrounding areas; Prepare and portion animal feed according to established feeding guidelines and standards; Observe animal behavior, health status, and eating habits; Follow established safety procedures when working with large predators; Promptly inform responsible colleagues of any changes in animal behavior or health status; Maintain cleanliness and order in animal enclosures and their surrounding areas (work is primarily physical and takes place in varying weather conditions); Carefully follow established work procedures and safety requirements. This job is for you if: You are accustomed to physical work and understand it's an integral part of the job; You can work carefully, responsibly, and patiently even when the work is physically demanding or monotonous; You understand that safety regulations are not subject to personal interpretation; You can take responsibility for your work even without supervision; You are prepared to work in an environment with hay, straw, dust, animal fur, and other organic materials; You seek stable work with clearly defined responsibilities; You can communicate freely in Latvian. This job likely isn't for you if: You have difficulty following rules, work procedures, and established protocols; Physical work tires or demotivates you quickly; You don't want to work in varying weather conditions; You have difficulty taking responsibility for your actions and work results.
