In fall 2019, we opened a brand new school in the Bråvalla area and relocated the vocational programs from Ebersteinska High School here. Bråvallagymnasiet is an education center for vocational training and is a creative and modern school equipped with the latest technology. The school has approximately 750 students across a wide range of vocational programs. In January 2026, we also launched a transportation program for adult students at Bråvalla. Bråvallagymnasiet is a new and modern high school for students interested in technology, innovation, and practical problem-solving. Here, students earn a vocational degree with the opportunity to pursue further studies. Visit us at http://bravalla.norrkoping.se/ Your Responsibilities As an instructor in the program, you will teach subjects and courses related to the program's various vocational specializations in Property Management, Ventilation, and Plumbing. Your work includes maintaining close contact with the industry regarding workplace-based learning placements and visits, and conducting assessment conversations in the form of three-party meetings with supervisors and students. You will work in a teaching team with responsibility and authority, with a well-tailored role designed to increase engagement, efficiency, and the spread of new pedagogical ideas. We maintain ongoing development work to provide our students with the best vocational education. Mentoring students is part of the position. Who are you? We are looking for a qualified vocational instructor in plumbing and property management. Alternatively, you may have upper secondary or adult education in plumbing and property management combined with several years of professional experience in the field. Industry certifications are an advantage. When working with students, it is advantageous if you have previous teaching experience at the high school level or have served as a supervisor for students on workplace-based learning. We also consider it an advantage if you have strong contacts within the industry. A driver's license (Category B) is a requirement for this position. As a person, you are outgoing, enjoy working with students, and have good collaboration skills. You are confident, stable, and maintain a clear distinction between the personal and professional. You have the ability to give clear instructions to others. You approach collaboration with others in a thoughtful and humble manner. You consider the benefit of the entire operation in your actions, and you are particularly skilled at creating a good learning environment with work focus and safety for your students. You plan instruction together with colleagues and enjoy passing on your knowledge and expertise to the students at the school. You inspire and motivate others, fostering engagement and participation. You are a knowledge resource who is persistent and always seeks new ways to reach students and promote their learning in collaboration with your colleagues. To succeed in this position, we see that you have strong communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. You also have good computer skills.
