About the Workplace
Kungsängsgymnasiet is a modern upper secondary school with approximately 480 students. We offer eight national programs as well as an Introduction Program. Our goal is for every student to succeed, and over three years we have received support from the Swedish National Agency for Education's initiative Collaboration for Better Schools.
Students feel safe and enjoy the school, which is evident from our safety surveys, and we have a high proportion of qualified teachers. Job Responsibilities
As a vocational teacher in our Electrical and Energy Program, you will have an important role in giving students a good start in the industry. You plan and lead instruction both in our workshop environments and at workplaces, together with engaged colleagues and partners in professional life.
We are a small school with short decision-making paths where you have good opportunities to influence how the education develops. Here there are experienced colleagues who share their knowledge and provide you support and resources for a good introduction.

We Are Looking for You
We are looking for someone with experience from the Electrical and Energy industry who wants to be part of educating the future professional experts.
You may be trained as a vocational teacher or have a relevant professional background and want to take the step into a teaching role. What is most important is your commitment, your professional expertise, and your desire to see young people succeed.
This is a permanent full-time position where you teach and mentor students within courses in the Electrical and Energy Program. You will be an important and driving force in shaping students' path toward working life, both in instruction and as a mentor.
We would appreciate if you enjoy combining practical elements with theory and that you have a structured way of guiding students forward. You work closely with both colleagues and the industry, and with us you get to be part of important development work as we build an attractive program.
You do not need to have all the answers from the beginning. With us there are knowledgeable colleagues who support you and give you the best conditions from the start.
Qualifications
Vocational teacher degree with certification at upper secondary level as an electrical teacher.
Alternatively, you have an upper secondary education in electrical engineering plus several years of professional experience as an electrician that the employer considers equivalent.
Driver's license category B required.
