Vocational Teacher for Electrical and Energy Program at Agnesfrids Gymnasium

Ref: 20261789 Agnesfrids Gymnasium is seeking a vocational teacher for the electrical and energy program with a focus on electrical engineering for a 40% temporary position during the 2026/2027 school year. We are looking for someone who wants to help shape the future workforce – primarily someone with vocational teacher training and industry experience, but we also welcome experienced professionals with experience mentoring students in work-based learning (APL). Job Responsibilities As a vocational teacher, you work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and encourage each student to meet learning objectives based on their abilities, preparing them for their future career. Your work includes planning, teaching, assessment, and evaluating and developing the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents. We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you will work in an environment characterized by collaborative learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the school's quality and development initiatives. Qualifications Requirements: Vocational teacher training, qualified to teach in the electrical and energy program with a focus on electrical engineering Several years of professional experience in the relevant industry and very strong subject knowledge Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy Very good Swedish in speech and writing. Merits: Qualification to teach other subjects Experience with teaching or pedagogical work Experience mentoring students in work-based learning (APL). About the Workplace Agnesfrids Gymnasium is a small school with a strong sense of community. We offer both upper secondary and adult education in vocational and introductory programs for students interested in electrical work, technology, vehicles, and transportation.
