Vocational Teacher for Children and Recreation Program - Training & Leadership Profile, Drottning Blankas gymnasium in Vasastan, ongoing position, 100%
We are looking for an experienced and licensed teacher, qualified to teach Children and Recreation subjects at the upper secondary Children and Recreation program with a focus on Leisure and Health.
Qualifications to teach Activity Leadership, Leisure Studies, Pedagogy, Special Education, Exercise Science, Health and Wellbeing, Health Pedagogy, and Nutrition and Health are meriting.
We are particularly interested in hiring teachers with a strong ability to build good relationships with students, motivate them, and spark their interest, as well as maintain good leadership. Other abilities we value are collaboration skills, humility, and responsiveness to students' varying needs, as well as the ability to translate this into active teacher support.
Mentoring is also part of the position.
We apply a 6-month probationary period.
