You are one of several vocational teachers in the restaurant and food program and you collaborate with other gymnasium teachers in your work team. We are now looking for you - a driven and engaged vocational teacher who is eager to be part of developing Magnus Åbergs Gymnasium further, specifically the Restaurant and Food Program. You are creative, flexible, and have excellent knowledge in your subjects while being skilled at explaining and engaging students and making them feel included. In your teaching, it is evident that you have a holistic view of student learning. You have the ability to motivate students in their learning and communicate in a positive, attentive, and clear manner. You are skilled at building good relationships with both students, parents, and colleagues. We also see that you are well familiar with the curriculum's values and knowledge assignments and have natural contacts in the industry. Duties The position involves teaching in the Restaurant and Food Program. The duties will consist of planning, teaching, examinations, feedback, grading, and evaluation. It will also include mentoring where development conversations and contact with guardians are part of the position. Your ability to create a good learning environment and safe relationships with students is important as mentoring is one of our most important tools. You will be part of and work in a work team but also in subject teams. Teaching in courses such as the following may be relevant: MALT1000X Meal and Industry, Level 1 MALT2000X Meal and Industry, Level 2 MATG2000X Cooking, Level 2 MATG3000X Cooking, Level 3 Qualifications Vocational teacher with specialization in Restaurant and Food. Permanent position 100%, trial employment may be applied. Fixed-term holiday position. Meritorious Experience from work at a gymnasium within the Restaurant and Food Program.
