Järfälla Adult Education and Activity Responsibility conducts municipal adult education in both authorized and self-managed forms and works with the municipality's activity responsibility, KAA. The operations are divided between Youth and Adult Guidance, where the focus is on the application and admission process and KAA, and Järfälla Lärcentrum, our own school. Operations at Lärcentrum consist of SFI, courses at basic and upper secondary levels in Swedish as a second language, vocational training in health and care, construction and restaurant and food, and adapted adult education at basic and upper secondary levels. At any given time, approximately 1,600 students study with us, both full-time and part-time. Our teaching staff consists of approximately 50 dedicated educators. In addition to these, the school has study administrators, study and career counselors, a special educator, and additional study support. The health and care work team consists of 10 vocational teachers and two language teachers, as well as one work-based learning coordinator. JOB DUTIES We are looking for you who wants to help shape the future nursing assistants and care personnel and who wants to take some extra responsibility for the development of our programs. We are planning, among other things, to start a new program within adapted adult education with a focus on care. As a vocational teacher, you teach at upper secondary level within health and care. You plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction while also working practically together with students in various method rooms and practical exercises. QUALIFICATIONS -You are a licensed vocational teacher in health and care or have an ongoing vocational teacher education. -You have current professional experience within health and care, preferably from different areas of activity. -You have good collaboration skills, are responsive, and contribute your own experiences and ideas for developing instruction and education. -You are positive and contribute to a good atmosphere in the work team. -You have high digital competence.
