Job Responsibilities As a temporary vocational instructor, you will conduct teaching according to current planning and regulations. You adapt instruction to students' individual needs and support, motivate, and stimulate their knowledge development. Together with colleagues, you contribute to a safe learning environment and a well-functioning operation. Qualifications Requirements: Vocational instructor certification with credentials in the relevant teaching subject/area. Alternatively, completed education in the relevant teaching subject/area at upper secondary or post-secondary level that the employer deems relevant Multiple years of professional experience from the relevant industry and excellent subject knowledge Strong understanding and knowledge of school regulations and the ability to apply them in daily work Experience using digital tools for communication and instruction Excellent Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious: Teaching experience in the relevant subject/area Experience in other teaching or pedagogical work We are looking for someone who is confident in the vocational instructor role and creates favorable conditions for student learning and development. You adapt instruction based on individual and group prerequisites and prior knowledge through a creative approach and excellent pedagogical ability. About the Workplace Malmö Restaurangskola is a vocational upper secondary school in central Malmö. We educate students who see a future in the restaurant and food services industry with its various specializations including cooking, catering, delicacies, serving, bakery, and charcuterie. The school offers a national program, introductory program, and an adapted upper secondary school. We are not just a school; we also operate two popular lunch restaurants and our own bakery.
