Vocational Teacher - Electrical and Energy Program/Plumbing and Property Management Program

REFIS is seeking a vocational teacher for instruction in both the Electrical and Energy Program and the Plumbing and Property Management Program. The position involves teaching the following courses (Gy11) and subjects (Gy25): Energy Technology (Gy11), Energy Technology, Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Installation Technology, and Building Systems (Gy25). Classes consist of 22-25 students per class, and you are responsible for planning and delivering instruction within the framework of the curriculum. The role also includes administrative work such as documenting lesson plans, assignments, and results in our Schoolsoft platform. The position includes mentoring responsibilities, with oversight of student progress and communication with students and guardians. You must have basic IT skills and fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you work well collaborating with both students and colleagues. You are pedagogical, clear, thorough, organized, and have strong communication skills. You are expected to be solution-oriented and creative, and able to adapt to different students' needs. REFIS (Pipe and Electrical Entrepreneurs' Independent School in Stockholm) is an industry-owned upper secondary school owned by Installatörsföretagen. The board includes representatives from both the electrical and plumbing industries. REFIS is located on Liljeholmen, with convenient public transportation. The school has 6 classes in each program, with two classes per grade level. We have 290 students and 22 staff members.
