The Self-Operated Activities department manages the city's own adult education (komvux), Swedish for Immigrants (Sfi), and vocational college, giving Stockholmers opportunities to study and participate in community and work life. The school's course offerings include Sfi within study paths 2 and 3, as well as courses in Swedish as a second language, vocational training, and combination and contract training. We are now seeking a vocational teacher in Children and Recreation for the specialization in Support Services for People with Disabilities at Komvux Södermalm. The core task of the position is to plan, implement, and follow up your own teaching and to collaborate with colleagues and external partners to contribute to the school's overall development. You are responsible for monitoring and documenting student progression throughout the training and for assigning grades at course completion. The role of vocational teacher with us involves varied work with the opportunity to develop and test new approaches. You will work with vocational subjects in the Children and Recreation program specializing in support services for people with disabilities. The work includes typical teaching tasks such as planning, implementation, follow-up, assessment, and grading.
