Brogymnasiet in Kristinehamn is now seeking a vocational instructor with broad professional expertise who wants to contribute to developing education for students in introductory programs. This position is primarily aimed at students who need a more practical, work-oriented, and individualized pathway toward employment.
The education may be organized as vocational packages or in an apprenticeship-like format, where students have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills within one or several vocational areas. A possible profile for this position is facility management, but other vocational areas may also be relevant. What is important is that we can offer young people a meaningful and motivating education that strengthens their vocational competence and increases their opportunities to move forward to work, internships, apprenticeship training, or continued studies.
Brogymnasiet is a workplace characterized by clear teamwork where the student is at the center. Students need support to succeed in both practical and theoretical parts of the education, and you will have an important role in the work team. Together, we create a safe learning environment where students can develop, build self-esteem, and prepare for working life.
Brogymnasiet has several national programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary school. The school has approximately 620 students and 80 competent staff members. There is a well-developed student health organization.
Our goal is for the school's students to receive a pleasant and personal reception and always meet professional and competent adults who help them achieve as much as possible. The school's development work is based on, among other things, formative instruction and assessment, language-developing working methods, collegial learning, and early interventions for students in need of support. One of the school's focus areas is to work with motivation-enhancing initiatives for our students.

DUTIES
Your work tasks are to teach, guide, and support students in their vocational development. You will primarily work with students in the introductory programs, where the education may have the character of vocational introduction, vocational packages, or apprenticeship-like arrangements.
The assignment includes providing students with basic vocational knowledge, practicing practical tasks, and contributing to their development of a professional approach to workplace requirements.
