About the Department You will be part of the regiment's communications department, positioned in the regiment's headquarters staff. The department is responsible for the regiment's internal and external communication, marketing and relationship communication, and defense information. We have a broad range of tasks, everything from communication support to defense operations and exercises, planning and producing material for our digital channels to reaching different target groups and explaining the Swedish Armed Forces' role in defending Sweden. You will have an important role in this. Given the breadth of tasks, there are great opportunities for professional development. Main Responsibilities Support the unit's marketing and relationship communication. Implement planned recruitment activities and contribute to development within the area. Provide information about the Swedish Armed Forces, Ing 2, and opportunities for continued engagement within the organization. Have a central role in meeting with recruitment target groups, especially conscripts during basic training, to inform them about paths to continued engagement in the Swedish Armed Forces. Participate in fairs and events within the relevant recruitment area. Support staffing of the Duty and Testing Board's offices in Gothenburg and Malmö. Contribute as needed to other activities within the department, for example: photography of activities, support for school visits, and other tasks that strengthen recruitment and information work. Qualifications Completed and approved military basic training within the last five years, or active service in the Swedish Armed Forces (GSS/K, GSS/T) within the last five years Passed Sv 1/A, Ma 1/A, and Eng 5/1 from upper secondary school Driver's license for manual transmission passenger car Good physical fitness Meritorious Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' tasks Interest in current events and societal issues Experience with oral presentations Completed military basic training at Ing 2 Military driver's license Personal Qualities You are engaged, communicative, and responsive, as your work will involve meeting people with very different experiences and perspectives. You need good collaboration skills and be outgoing since you are an ambassador for the entire Swedish Armed Forces.
