Windows Server Specialist – Long-term consulting assignment in Linköping Are you a confident Windows Server specialist ready to take on a long-term role in a technically advanced environment? Viraliv Professional is seeking a systems administrator with strong expertise in Windows Server for a long-term consulting assignment with our client in Linköping. Here you'll work with mission-critical IT infrastructure where operational reliability, security, and high availability are paramount. You'll become part of an experienced technical team and work on both day-to-day operations and infrastructure development. A technical role with a strong focus on stable operations In this role, you'll work broadly within Microsoft server environments. You'll be involved in administration, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration management. Example work areas: Windows Server – operations, administration, and maintenance Active Directory and DNS PowerShell and scripting for automation MDT for installation and deployment SCCM and SCOM for administration and monitoring Automated configuration and operational management Troubleshooting and incident management Security and continuous infrastructure improvement You'll collaborate with other technical specialists and contribute to maintaining a high level of availability, performance, quality, and security in the environment. Your experience To succeed in this role, you need a solid technical foundation and several years of experience working with Windows-based infrastructure. We're looking for someone who has: At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) Strong PowerShell and scripting skills Experience with Active Directory and DNS Worked with SCCM and SCOM, or similar tools Experience with automation and configuration management Systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving A very strong security mindset Very good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written Swedish citizenship Who are you? You work carefully and methodically, but can also act quickly when the situation demands it. Since you'll be working in a security-critical operation, it's important that you take responsibility for quality, documentation, and security in your daily work. You also need to collaborate effectively with other technical roles and communicate clearly in both Swedish and English. An assignment with long-term opportunities This is an opportunity for you to enter an advanced and security-critical IT environment and work with technology that's central to business operations.
