On behalf of our client in the IT industry, we are now seeking a Web Manager / WordPress Specialist for their operations in Skövde.
Would you like to combine design, user experience, and technology while taking full ownership of the website? We're looking for someone who wants to take charge of our WordPress site and develop it visually, in terms of content, and technically.
Here you'll have the opportunity to work broadly, from structure and design to operations, improvements, and further development.
About the Role
In this role, you have operational overall responsibility for the website both visually and regarding content. You take ownership of the entire website lifecycle; from setup and migration to ongoing operations, maintenance, publishing, visual content, and improvements.
You will work on, among other things:
Building, developing, and maintaining our WordPress site
Creating pages, landing pages, and structures that are clear and conversion-focused
Ensuring a strong visual experience aligned with the brand
Working with hosting, performance, security, and operations
Planning and executing migrations when needed
Monitoring traffic and user behavior and driving improvements
Being the contact person for external vendors
The position is a direct employment with our client. It is full-time and based in Skövde.
Profile
We're looking for someone who can manage the WordPress site operationally while also contributing design, media, and digital content expertise.
To be a good fit for the role, we see that you:
Have experience with UX/UI and a good sense for design and usability
Are comfortable with WordPress and experienced working with themes, plugins, and content
Have a good technical understanding and basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. If you also have knowledge of JavaScript/PHP, that's a plus
Enjoy a role where you can take responsibility and work broadly
Have an interest in and understanding of how design, content, and technology work together
Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It's an added advantage if you have experience with:
Hosting, domains, and web operations
SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Figma, Adobe, or similar tools
