About the Job Wasasten of Sweden is seeking team members. Wasasten of Sweden is a stone quarrying company that has extracted Älvdalen quartzite since the end of the 1800s. We both quarry blocks and produce finished products such as countertops, headstones, paving slabs, ground stones, facades, street stones, walls, floors, stairs, and various artistic projects. We work extensively with our own stone as well as other stone types from Sweden and around the world. Our customers are both private and public, locally within the Nordic region, but we also export to Japan, the USA, Canada, and the rest of Europe. Currently, we have 3 people working in production and wish to add one to two more. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a team where you work both independently and collaboratively with other team members. You will work with large and heavy machinery, and experience operating loaders and forklifts is an advantage but not required—the most important thing is that you are willing to learn. It's a great plus if you have an interest in machinery and materials. You should be in good physical condition and have a driver's license. We have the factory and quarry in Mångsbodarna; using public transportation is not possible. If you are a student or want part-time work, that could also be an option.
