Depot Manager Fyrbodal Our operations in Fyrbodal consist of a bus depot located in Uddevalla. Approximately 120 employees work there, most of them bus drivers but there are also traffic and service staff as well as two group managers. We are seeking a structured and engaged depot manager with strong business acumen to take on an exciting role with operational responsibility. As depot manager, you will be the immediate supervisor for drivers, group managers, traffic and vehicle service personnel. Responsibilities You will ensure that daily operations run smoothly through close and good collaboration with own operations, support functions, colleagues, and our customer. Operational responsibility means you have overall responsibility for results, budget, quality, and delivery, and ensure that our commitments to our principal Västra Götaland Public Transport are met. This means you will have a hands-on role and be involved in the daily operations of the business, which includes tasks such as: Plan, develop, and follow up on operations in Fyrbodal. Coach, lead, and develop staff in a pedagogical manner, as well as recruit personnel. Conduct safety rounds and establish action plans to ensure a good work environment. Work with continuous improvements. Ensure traffic safety in daily operations and full compliance with traffic agreements and contractual requirements. Be the primary contact person and relationship owner for Västra Götaland Public Transport. Responsible for ongoing dialogue, follow-up, and reporting to the client. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has previously worked in a leadership role with personnel responsibility, recruitment, work environment responsibility, etc. Has experience managing through managers. Is a problem solver with real initiative. Has experience with goal-oriented work with business follow-up and key metrics. Has experience from the industry is meritorious but not a requirement.
