This is an opportunity for you to be part of the team from the very beginning and influence how the team works, establish structures, and help shape the culture, while getting modern tools and new vehicles to work with.
This recruitment is a collaboration with Jefferson Wells, but you will be directly employed by ByggVesta. This is not a consulting position.
Currently, we manage nearly twenty residential properties with rental apartments and student housing in the Stockholm area. The portfolio comprises approximately 2,650 apartments in total, with properties varying in size, from under 50 to over 400 apartments.
Operations are based from our regional offices in Kista and Nacka, with headquarters on Kungsholmen. ByggVesta is an established and financially stable company with a long-term presence in several locations across Sweden.
About the Role
This is a role for you who wants to work close to reality, where your expertise makes a concrete difference every day. You will be responsible for HVAC-related matters in our residential properties and become a key person in the team when it comes to operations, troubleshooting, and improvements. The work ranges from emergency interventions to preventive measures and long-term improvements to systems and function.
The role is characterized by responsibility with freedom, where you plan and drive your work yourself, with support from colleagues when needed. There is also an opportunity to act as a work supervisor and lead parts of the daily operations for other property technicians.
What You Will Do
You will work broadly within HVAC and have a clear responsibility for ensuring systems function stably and efficiently over time.
You troubleshoot and fix problems related to water, heating, and drainage.
Identify improvement areas and help prevent future operational disruptions.
Support colleagues with technical questions and carry out various service tasks as time allows.
You collaborate with external suppliers on larger projects, follow up on measures, and ensure that work meets the right quality standards. Documentation and reporting are a natural part of the work—simple, clear, and professional. Your ability to communicate becomes just as important as your technical expertise.
A Role Close to the Tenant
You meet tenants in their homes, often in situations where something isn't working. Your ability to build trust, explain what needs to be done, and deliver a safe solution is an important part of the work. It makes the role both technical and service-oriented, where customer interaction and professional skill go hand in hand.
Who We Think You Are
We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in HVAC and confidence in working independently. You have likely worked with service, property management, or installation and are used to meeting both practical and technical challenges in everyday work. You like taking responsibility, see what needs to be done, and act without waiting for instructions.
At the same time, you have a strong sense of service; you know that professional customer care is just as important as a technically correct solution.
You are solution-oriented, organized, and take natural pride in your professional skills. When something doesn't work, you don't look for shortcuts—you solve it properly.
Possible light work supervision of daily operations.
You are skilled at communicating in Swedish and English with our tenants.
