HVAC Teacher at Movant Helsingborg

Join us and become part of a skilled, positive team with a strong positive school culture. You will teach, lead, and motivate our adult HVAC students at the school. Your focus is always to put teaching and students at the center and create conditions for our adult students to thrive, develop, and achieve the goals of their education. Your tasks include APL visits, documentation, conducting meetings, collaborative learning, and participation in professional development in various forums. You will guide students in their learning and teach both practical and theoretical aspects. We are looking for you with at least 5 years of work experience in the HVAC industry, industry certification, and genuine commitment to both the profession and teaching students. You need to be pedagogical, digitally competent, and have previous experience mentoring apprentices/interns. In your teaching role, you are involved in the school's knowledge and values-based work, familiarize yourself with governing documents, and have a strong interest in growing into a new role as a vocational teacher in adult education. The ability to adapt teaching to student needs and an inclusive, listening approach is required. As a new colleague at the school, you are curious, eager to learn, unpretentious, thoughtful, and a good role model. You share your knowledge, show humility toward colleagues' expertise and students' different backgrounds/goals. Your personality is characterized by good collaboration skills, flexibility, and strong relationship-building abilities with everyone you meet. In your professional role as a vocational teacher, you offer our students a positive belief in their ability to achieve their goals. You create a learning, developmental climate, are careful with student feedback, and focus on quality. You participate very actively in the school's work to support all students so they reach their goals and in our student wellness efforts. Meritorious + Formal Qualifications: Beyond the above requirements, we would like you to have previous teaching experience and pedagogical competence. It is meritorious if you have taught in adult education or upper secondary school. And preferably if you are certified/licensed as a vocational teacher or have equivalent knowledge/experience. You are expected to contribute actively in collaborative learning, in national and local forums, and in the school's systematic quality work, help your colleagues, and further develop the school. We also expect you to deepen your understanding of what each subject entails and VVSYN's requirements for schools. Driver's License: B driver's license required. Start Date: Preferably in the fall. Work Location: Helsingborg and possibly other locations. Travel may be part of the position.
