Social Workers for Adult Services, Hisingen District (2 Positions)

Description We are seeking two dedicated social workers for municipal authority services in adult services! The unit is responsible for work related to harmful use and addiction within individual and family care on Hisingen. This includes processing applications for support/care and treatment, reports of concern regarding harmful use and addiction, LVM handling, and support housing for the target group. The unit is also responsible for outreach and motivational work targeting the adult population. Based on the new Social Services Act, accessibility and user focus are high on our agenda. We strive to maintain a reasonable caseload that enables quality work and time for recovery. You will be offered close methodological support, method development, and external supervision. The workplace actively promotes a good work environment and the administration offers wellness contributions. For us, it is important to stay updated on new laws and guidelines and to maintain high expertise in all our areas of responsibility. We are actively involved in work across the city, both within housing and harmful use and addiction issues. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work who has strong investigation and documentation skills and takes responsibility for following up on ongoing interventions. Experience working with the target group on harmful use and addiction issues is a merit. We would like to see previous experience in municipal authority work within the Social Services Act and LVM. If you also have experience with evidence-based methods such as ASI, AUDIT/DUDIT, and/or MI, that is a merit. A driver's license and good computer skills are required. As a person, you are a team player while also having the ability to work independently, drive processes, and make your own decisions. You are confident in yourself as a person and in your role as a social worker. You have strong communication skills, which means you can meet people with respect and deliver difficult messages in a clear and professional manner. You will collaborate both internally and externally, so it is important that you find it easy to establish and maintain good relationships. The work requires that you can organize and allocate your time between collaboration, documentation, and client meetings to create quality in the operation. It is important that you understand what it means to work in a politically governed organization and that your chosen interventions are cost-effective. The salary levels for this position are between 38,500 kr - 48,200 kr (10th percentile and 90th percentile), but Gothenburg City applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
