Description We are seeking an engaged social worker for adult authority operations. The unit is responsible for work on harmful use and addiction within individual and family care services on Hisingen. This includes handling applications for support/care and treatment, reports of concern regarding harmful use and addiction, LVM case handling and residential care facilities for the target group. The unit is also responsible for outreach and motivational work targeting the adult population. Based on the new social services law, accessibility and user focus are high on the agenda. We strive to maintain a reasonable caseload that enables quality work and time for recovery. You will be offered close methodological support, method development, and external supervision. We are involved in work throughout the city both within housing and harmful use and addiction. Qualifications We are looking for you with a degree in social work who has good investigative and documentation skills and takes responsibility for following up ongoing interventions. Experience with the target group on harmful use and addiction issues is meritorious. We would like to see that you have prior experience with authority operations within SoL and LVM. If you also have experience with evidence-based methods such as ASI, Audit/Dudit and/or MI, that is meritorious. A driver's license and good computer skills are a requirement. As a person, you are a team player while having the ability to work independently, drive processes, and make your own decisions. You are confident in yourself as a person and in the role of social worker. You have good communication skills, which means you can meet people with respect and deliver difficult messages in a clear and professional manner. You will collaborate both internally and externally, so it is important that you have an easy time establishing and maintaining good relationships. The work requires that you can organize and allocate your time between collaboration, documentation, and client meetings to create quality in the operations. It is important that you understand what it means to work in a politically governed organization and that your chosen interventions are cost-effective. The salary levels for this position are between 38,500 kr - 48,200 kr (10th percentile and 90th percentile) but the City of Gothenburg applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
