About the Position
As an HVAC technician in service, you will work with installation, repair, and service of piping and equipment for heating, water, and sanitation in, for example, residential buildings, hospitals, commercial and office spaces.
You work from work orders and plan your own work steps, methods, materials, and equipment to ensure that the work is performed efficiently and with the right quality. The role involves daily customer contact where you represent the company and contribute to a professional and solution-oriented experience.
You report to the Department Manager and work closely with service leaders and colleagues within HVAC.
Your Main Responsibilities
Perform installation and service work according to work orders
Plan and order materials via the purchasing system, phone, and email
Ensure quality through self-inspections and pressure testing
Follow the company's management system for quality, environment, and work environment
Participate in and follow the work environment plan (AMP)
Report deviations to the service leader
Maintain ongoing contact and feedback with customer
Report time daily according to applicable procedures
Comply with the company's vehicle policy
Your Background
We are looking for you who have previous experience as an HVAC technician, preferably within service. You are confident in your trade and experienced in working independently at customer locations. You have a good understanding of how work is planned and executed with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
We see that you have:
Trade certificate as HVAC technician
Training in Hot Work
Training in Safe Water
Driver's license (Category B) is a requirement
