VŘ 42/2026 Specialist/Officer for School Financing and Grants

Applications received after this date will not be included in the selection process. The application including the above-mentioned documents may also be submitted via digital mailbox or by email with at least qualified electronic signature. Application attachments will not be returned to applicants; they may be picked up in person within 30 days of receiving notification of the selection process results. Uncollected application attachments will be destroyed. The date of interviews with selected candidates and the time schedule will be provided in an electronic invitation or announced by telephone. Other applicants will be notified of the results by email after the completion of the selection process. The application must contain: Precise designation of the selection process, first name, surname and title, date and place of birth, nationality, place of permanent residence, ID number or residence permit number for foreign nationals, email, phone contact, date and signature. Job Description: Monitors the use and utilization of grants or other purpose-bound budget funds, including determining contributions and penalties for their unauthorized use. Prepares proposals for financial plans and is responsible for preparing budget proposals for designated contributory organizations. Develops materials for resolving discrepancies between possibilities and needs and discusses them with relevant organizations. Performs work related to comprehensive financing, ongoing and preliminary financing control of designated contributory organizations. Prepares proposals for approval of financial statements, achieved financial results and allocations to funds of contributory organizations. Processes materials, reports and documentation for the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, regional bodies and department heads or section heads for assigned schools. Evaluates data from activity reports and task fulfillment for entrusted contributory organizations and conducts analytical activities in relation to these organizations. Required Education: University degree (Bc.) or higher professional education with focus on economics or public administration. Prerequisites: According to § 4 of Act No. 312/2002 Coll., on civil servants of territorial self-governing units and on amendments to certain laws, as amended. Other Requirements: User proficiency in PC work (MS Office, Internet), knowledge of accounting for contributory organizations. Experience in public administration, work with GINIS system, and special professional competency examination are advantageous. Group B driving license is advantageous. Required Documents: a) Professional CV focusing on a description of activities performed, b) Criminal record excerpt not older than 3 months/certificate of good conduct, c) Copy of the document on highest education achieved, d) Application form.
