Daugavpils Iespēju vidusskola invites a general secondary education teacher to teach Spanish as a third language in secondary school (9 contact hours + 4.85 hours for other duties). Job Responsibilities: 1. Implement the educational program in the specific subject in accordance with the State Education Standard; 2. In collaboration with subject teachers, class teachers, educational institution support staff (psychologists, social pedagogues, speech therapists, medical workers) and administration, analyze each student's learning, psychological, adaptation and other issues and determine methods for resolving them; 3. Conduct individual work with students to clarify misunderstood educational content, create motivation for learning and develop cooperation and communication skills; 4. Cooperate with parents, inform them about the student's achievements and problems at the educational institution, and jointly seek solutions in case of issues; 5. Conduct research on the dynamics of student development and self-analysis of own work; 6. Perform class teacher duties (if agreed in writing between employee and employer) according to tasks set by the educational institution's director, including, but not limited to: 6.6.1. respecting students' individual characteristics, opinions and views, promote their personality development; 6.6.2. together with students plan and implement class teacher work in the classroom (group) and extracurricular activities, coordinated with the deputy director of the educational institution; 6.6.3. ensure favorable conditions are created in the classroom (group) for each student's education, development and upbringing; 6.6.4. organize cooperation with students' parents, if necessary, cooperate with the school psychologist, social pedagogue, guardianship court and municipal specialists dealing with child and family matters. 7. Plan own work and inform the educational institution about work results in the manner it determines; 8. Participate in the educational institution's pedagogical council meetings and other meetings related to educational and upbringing work; 9. Maintain documentation in accordance with requirements set by the educational institution; 10. Ensure student safety and compliance with the educational institution's internal regulations; 11. Immediately report to the educational institution's management, law enforcement, health care institutions and child protection institutions about cases of emotional or physical violence against a student at or outside the educational institution; 12. Develop own professional competencies; 13. Comply with work procedures and ethical standards. 14. Read e-class email at least once a day. 15. Execute orders from the institution's director and direct supervisor. Education Required for Job Duties: Education in accordance with regulatory acts regarding the education and professional qualifications required for educators and the procedure for professional development of educators. Ability to build professional cooperation with educational institution staff, students, their parents and employees of other institutions; 7.3. Ability to work in a team; 7.4. Ability to respond to student needs; 7.5. Ability to motivate students for work; 8. Self-assessment skills; 9. State language proficiency at the highest level; 10. Ability to work with office equipment and information technologies. Responsibility: 1. Responsible for compliance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, Child Protection Law, Education Law, General Education Law and other regulatory acts governing the educational institution's activities; 2. Responsible for conscientious, quality and timely performance of duties and work results; 3. Responsible for confidentiality of information about students provided by educational institution staff and parents; 4. Responsible for student safety, health and creation of a psychologically favorable environment during lessons and classes; 5. Responsible for correct treatment of educational institution staff, students and their parents; 6. Responsible for decisions made and their consequences; 7. Responsible for timeliness, accuracy and truthfulness of provided information; 8. Complies with the requirements of the educational institution's work regulations and other internal regulatory acts; 9. Responsible for own professional competency development; 10.
