General Education Teacher

Krustpils Elementary School invites a geography teacher (permanent position). Main job responsibilities: 1. Plan and ensure quality education process in accordance with competencies and regulatory requirements; 2. Implement the education program in the specific subject in accordance with the national basic education standard; 3. Assess and document student learning achievements, study learning progress dynamics and analysis; 4. Analyze your work, set further goals and inform the educational institution of results in the prescribed manner; 5. Conduct individual work with students to clarify misunderstood learning content, create motivation to learn, and develop collaboration and communication skills; 6. Provide individual support to students according to their abilities and needs (talent development, remedial learning, consultations, work with migrants and returnees); 8. Collaborate with parents, provide comprehensive information, inform parents about student achievements and problems at school, jointly seeking solutions; 9. In cooperation with subject teachers, class teachers, school support personnel (psychologist, social pedagogue, speech-language pathologist, general care nurse) and administration, analyze student learning, psychological, adaptation and other issues and determine methods to address them; Requirements for candidates: Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Professional Development of Pedagogues".
