General Education Teacher

Elejas Secondary School of Jelgava Municipality invites applications for a permanent position: German language teacher, part-time balanced workload in general education and secondary education programs (15 hours). Requirements for candidates: Education in compliance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 of 11.09.2018 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Improving Pedagogues' Professional Competence"; may be a pedagogy student; knowledge of the state language at the highest level. We offer: permanent employment contract; basic salary from 1510 EUR for the workload before tax payment; health insurance (after probation period); work in a friendly pedagogical environment, classes with 15-20 students; individual, permanent work office with all necessary equipment; access to all necessary learning platforms (Soma.lv, Uzdevumi.lv, etc.) and funds for purchasing specific teaching materials; methodological and mentor support for new teachers; paid courses and seminars of the teacher's choice; pedagogy students have the opportunity to receive compensation for tuition costs by concluding a contract with the municipality.
