Saldus Primary School of Saldus Municipality (Reg. No. 4112900014) invites applications for the position of Design and Technology Teacher for an indefinite period. Requirements for applicants: • Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 of September 11, 2018 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Improving Pedagogues' Professional Competence"; • Knowledge of educational and training content and teaching subject methodology; • State language proficiency at the highest level (C1); • Ability to use digital tools and technologies in the learning process; • Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary projects, initiate and implement creative activities in the learning process; • High level of interpersonal culture and communication skills, psychological resilience; • Ability to establish professional cooperation with school staff, students, and their parents; • Desired experience in related work. Main responsibilities: • Implement the educational program in design and technologies – work with textile materials, handicrafts, food preparation – in accordance with the state education standard; • Plan, organize, and conduct pedagogical work in accordance with the goals set by the educational institution; • Lead classes by selecting diverse teaching methods appropriate to the specific age group and curriculum; • Adapt the learning process to students' individual needs and abilities, including inclusive education; • Provide students with feedback and assessment of their work; • Participate in organizing and implementing school events, as well as in the implementation of the institution's development plans; • Comply with the rules and regulations established by the educational institution and other applicable legal acts and ethical standards. We offer: • 18 contact hours per week; • Salary of 1566.00 EUR before taxes per full-time position; • Employment for an indefinite period.
