About the Position As a contract engineer in industrial piping, you will play a central role in our operations. You will work broadly and be responsible for calculating and providing quotes on requests that we agree upon within the department and company. With responsibility for evaluating and monitoring budgets as well as overseeing project progress, you ensure that we deliver according to the requirements specified in the contract. You will also actively seek new projects to bid on. As a contract engineer, you will work closely with the sales manager, site manager, and other colleagues. Primary Responsibilities · Customer and supplier visits · Organize and administer bid and quote flows · Prepare budgets and prepare documents for bids · Analyze drawings and specifications to determine materials and labor costs · Monitor the market for interesting projects · Plan and prepare for project start together with the project team · Work closely with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success · Review and approve supplier invoices · Budget and forecast work · Assist with procurement and contract matters We Are Looking for Someone Who · Has higher education in a relevant field, or has acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience · Preferably has experience managing projects in industrial piping or held similar roles previously · Has good knowledge of Swedish and English. If you speak Finnish, we consider that a merit. · Holds a valid driver's license (Category B) · Has good computer skills (Microsoft Office) · Focuses on good business practices Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to develop with us at VINAB.
