Unikom is owned by six municipalities in Scania and is the result of long-term collaboration on IT, digitalization and development. Together we are responsible for the digital foundation for soon 100,000 residents and thousands of employees. At the same time, we are in the midst of a comprehensive digital transformation where AI, information management, cybersecurity, target architecture, cloud services, identity and digital workplace are becoming increasingly important. To meet future demands, we are now strengthening our organization with a key role in the development of our municipality and Unikom group – our shared digital ecosystem.
Your assignment
You are head of the Infrastructure Department while also taking on a coordinating responsibility for developing the digital platform that brings together six municipalities and Unikom into a shared digital ecosystem. You work at the interface between technology, operations, management and municipalities. You are responsible for the platforms, principles, governance models and architectures needed for the municipalities and Unikom together to develop tomorrow's digital services.
Your assignment is to create direction, common principles and long-term conditions for a secure, robust and future-proof digital ecosystem – with the ability to evolve in line with a constantly changing environment. In addition to being head and line manager for our infrastructure department, you have overall responsibility for:
• Infrastructure: Data centers, networks, client and cloud platforms
• Digital platform: Existing and future platform capabilities
• Strategy and architecture: AI, target architecture and technical roadmap
• Identity and access: Rights management and identity solutions
• Security governance: Common principles, requirements, governance for information security, cybersecurity and continuity
• Standardization and integration: Common principles, integration strategies and technical standards
• Lifecycle and continuity: Lifecycle management, continuity capability and non-functional requirements
Ultimately, the role is about creating conditions for tomorrow's digital municipalities where technology, security, AI, information and operational development are interconnected in a cohesive ecosystem.
Who are you?
You are a strategic and communicative leader who enjoys creating structure, direction and collaboration. You have experience leading IT, digitalization or platform operations in complex organizations and matrix management, and are used to creating consensus between technology, operations and management.
You have documented experience in management, change leadership and translating strategy into practical implementation. You are well versed in Service Management and its processes and have a good understanding of how stable delivery, development and change work together.
You understand that tomorrow's IT is not about technology for its own sake – but about creating conditions for operations, people and societal benefit. You have the ability to think long-term about architecture, platforms, security and digital development while valuing stable operations, structure and delivery capability. You thrive in change, have strong self-drive and enjoy building long-term capabilities together with others.
You report to the CEO and are part of the management group and are expected to contribute to the company's overall development, governance and goal achievement.
You have relevant academic education or equivalent experience in IT, digitalization, technology or operational development.
Your main workplace is our head office in Hörby, but we offer good opportunities for hybrid work. The role also involves presence with our owner municipalities and collaboration throughout our shared ecosystem.
