Experienced Water Builder with Focus on Production Manager Diving LCAB is seeking a key person for our water construction and marine contracting operations. We are looking for you who have already built under, on, and over water. You have experience with heavy civil engineering production, understand the special conditions that exist in marine projects, and feel at home on a work barge as well as on a traditional construction site. This is not a position for someone who wants to sit in an office. We are seeking a practically minded leader who wants to be close to production, make decisions where the work happens, and eventually take on the role of Production Manager for our diving unit. You will work alongside a senior production manager. About the Role You will work on some of the most technically challenging water construction projects where production is conducted from barges, pontoons, and marine work platforms as well as directly from solid ground. The work includes, among other things: Marine civil engineering contracts Port, dock, and bridge work Foundations and steel structures in water environments Civil engineering diving work Structural steelwork and assembly Coordination of barges, tugboats, and other marine resources Production planning and work supervision The goal is that you gradually assume greater responsibility for planning, production, and personnel to develop into a Production Manager for LCAB's diving unit. We are looking for someone who has Documented experience in heavy civil engineering construction. Experience in water construction or marine contracting. Experience in civil engineering diving. Good knowledge of structural steelwork and steel structures. Experience with barge handling and working from barges. Good understanding of marine resources and logistics on water. Engineering-level understanding of civil engineering and water construction projects. Ability to read, interpret, and translate technical drawings into safe and efficient production. Ability to manage production and make decisions in a demanding project environment. Are structured, disciplined, and focused. Meritorious High technical expertise in water construction and marine structures. Engineering degree in civil engineering, road and water engineering, construction technology, or equivalent experience gained through professional work. Experience in design, production planning, or technical project management in water construction. Work supervisory or production management experience. Certified civil engineering diver. Experience with port, dock, bridge, or power plant projects. Qualifications for marine vessels or work boats. Who Are You? You are someone who makes things happen.
