As a service technician, you're responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure and developing tomorrow's communication networks. Your main duties include identifying and resolving customer issues, installing and configuring new equipment. You'll work with a variety of technical equipment in IP and LAN areas, such as routers and switches, as well as other types of customer installations and connections. Examples of work tasks: Troubleshooting Perform installations at customer sites Configure and calibrate new equipment Perform functional tests Commissioning and ensuring connections work with available equipment within the IP/LAN/Router technical field as well as other types of customer installations/connections according to customer-provided instructions On-call duty (on-call weeks) occurs in this position. To succeed in this role, we believe you: have completed upper secondary education with relevant specialization have good understanding of IP technology, networks, and mobile systems can read and interpret work documentation can operate measuring instruments such as OTDR and similar tools speak Swedish fluently have a B driving license for manual transmission As a technician, you'll have many different contacts – with our production planner who assigns and distributes work to available technicians, and with customers when needed. Sometimes you'll need to procure what's needed to solve the customer's problem yourself, in which case communication is key. You report your time daily via phone or computer and report continuously during and after completed work. Of course, you maintain close dialogue with our production planner and our customers so they're updated on how the work is progressing. Feel like you don't meet the requirements profile?
