About the Role
As a traffic controller, you work with planning, coordinating, and following up on our passenger transportation. You have a central role in daily operations and work in close contact with drivers, customers, and colleagues.
The taxi industry is dynamic and conditions can change quickly. You therefore need to be able to stay calm, prioritize, and make decisions even when multiple things are happening at once.
Your tasks include:
Plan and coordinate passenger transportation for our contract customers.
Allocate vehicles based on resource needs and geographic location.
Follow up on drivers, vehicles, and ongoing traffic.
Handle urgent changes due to, for example, illness, delays, or vehicle problems.
Perform ongoing administration and documentation.
Maintain continuous contact with drivers, customers, and colleagues.
We're looking for someone who:
Is organized, responsible, and solution-oriented.
Can stay calm and prioritize when multiple things are happening at once.
Works independently, takes responsibility, and dares to make decisions.
Is flexible and can quickly adapt when conditions change.
Communicates clearly and professionally.
Is a comfortable computer user and able to work in multiple different systems at the same time – a requirement.
Has previous experience with traffic control, scheduling, logistics, or vehicles – advantageous but not required.
Has a valid Class B driver's license – a requirement.
Working Hours and Availability
This is an on-call position where working hours can vary. There may be an opportunity for a more recurring schedule, for example certain weekends each month, combined with on-call work on weekdays.
Needs may exist on weekdays, evenings, nights, weekends, and during vacation periods, both with advance notice and sometimes with shorter notice.
Your availability is an important part of this role. It's important that you're clear about when you can work and respond quickly when you receive a request for a shift.
The greater and more flexible your availability, the more likely you are to be offered shifts.
