JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
With us, you will have meaningful work where you are an important part of people's everyday lives. We are looking for someone who wants to work in home care and help create security, inclusion, and quality of life for our elderly. As a home care assistant in North Tierp, you play a key role in providing care and support to our clients in their own homes. Thanks to your work, clients can maintain their living habits and uphold a high quality of life in their home environment. This may include personal care, meal assistance, cleaning, shopping, and medication administration according to delegation from the responsible nurse.

You are responsible for establishing implementation plans for the clients you have a primary care contact with, and for ensuring that care services are delivered as needed, such as: personal care, social activities, home support, medical services under delegation, and continuously evaluating and reporting on the services provided. Documentation using digital tools is also part of daily work.
You will be part of a cohesive team where we collaborate closely with colleagues and with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the unit manager. You will work on a day/evening schedule rotating over 6 weeks with alternating weekends; you will use a car and bicycle as transportation.
A B-class driver's license is desirable but not required.
A certificate from the police criminal records register is a requirement.
It is of utmost importance that clients within healthcare and social services can feel safe in the care provided by the municipality. Therefore, you must present a certificate from the criminal records register before a job offer is made. The processing time for a certificate is approximately three weeks, and you order it yourself via the police website. It would be helpful to order the certificate at the same time you submit your application so that you have everything in place if you move forward in the recruitment process.
If you already have a certificate, it must not be older than one year.
The form used for this is called "Verification of Personal Information in the Criminal Records Register (442.3)"
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional certification as a home care assistant
Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a letter from your current/previous employer regarding permanent employment as a home care assistant.
Language
Good proficiency in Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension.
Good computer skills/computer experience
Bicycle competence
Criminal Records Register
You must be able to provide a valid criminal records certificate from the Police for work in activities other than schools or preschools.
B-class Driver's License
Hold a B-class driver's license and have driving experience.
You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and acknowledge and appreciate others' contributions.
