The Department of Children and Education in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to higher education, and also manages Swedish for immigrants (sfi) and community orientation for newcomers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a substitute coordinator with us, you play a central role in creating a safe and stable daily environment for both students and colleagues. You have a central role in operational collaboration where you coordinate and assign substitute needs to ensure that teaching takes place as planned. During the school day, you work closely with the operations by stepping in yourself as a substitute in various grades and subjects. In the pedagogical work, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction together with colleagues so that each student is given the best conditions for success. In addition to direct work in the classroom, you are responsible for long-term resource planning. This means you plan upcoming substitute assignments and recruit, select, and introduce new substitutes to our school. The position also includes some responsibility for managing students' digital devices, which means we are looking for you with good IT skills. You function as an important link between students, parents, and staff, and we see that you are someone driven by creating good relationships and a safe work environment for everyone. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying have teacher certification with authorization to teach mathematics, Swedish, and English in primary school. The assignment includes occasionally accompanying students to swimming instruction, so swimming proficiency is also a requirement. You are well versed in the school's curriculum and we would like to see that you have teaching experience. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of continuing to develop our school. You have good collaboration skills and plan, implement, and evaluate activities together with your colleagues. Reflection on learning is self-evident to you and you enjoy sharing with others in collegial learning. You are flexible and have good pedagogical insight. Additionally, you are organized and have clear classroom leadership. Experience teaching students in adapted primary school is a merit. Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
