We are now seeking an engaged university lecturer in Pedagogy with specialization in Visual Arts who wants to be part of educating future teachers and thereby contribute to development in close collaboration with schools and society. The position of university lecturer is placed at the Department of Health, Learning, and Technology on the Luleå campus and belongs to the Division of Pedagogy, Languages, and Subject Didactics. The division conducts teacher education, standalone courses, and commissioned education that contribute to school development and the provision of qualified teachers in both our region and the country as a whole. Subject Description Pedagogy encompasses learning, education, teaching, instruction, and other influence processes in formal and non-formal contexts. A particular focus is directed toward relationships, participation, collaboration, communication, the teaching profession, digital technology, and governance and management. Pedagogy has three specializations: general pedagogy, special education pedagogy, and early childhood pedagogy. Research within the specializations is conducted based on their specific target groups and in relation to conditions, content, actors, and contexts within pedagogy. Job Responsibilities Job responsibilities consist of teaching in visual arts and aesthetic learning processes within preschool teacher and primary teacher programs. The applicant is also expected to actively participate in institutional work, program and course development, and follow developments and research progress within the subject. The position also includes responsibility for and active participation in collaboration with the surrounding community. Qualifications To meet the requirements for employment as a university lecturer, the applicant must have completed higher education with at least 180 credits or equivalent demonstrate pedagogical competence.
