About the workplace Rotviksbro Care and Residential Home is located in western Uddevalla in a rural setting with views of both the sea and the forest, with a fantastic outdoor environment. Rotviksbro is a residential home with 3 somatic units and 3 dementia units. There are a total of 60 apartments distributed across 6 units. The physical design of the units encourages community and close contact with staff. Your main responsibilities are to: Provide good care to the home's residents with a focus on their well-being and safety. Support and assist residents in their daily activities and personal care, adapted to each individual's needs. Work as part of a team to ensure high quality care and support, where collaboration and communication are in focus. Perform delegated healthcare tasks Encourage and motivate the home's residents toward a meaningful daily life by creating a positive and stimulating environment. Document and follow up on residents' needs based on their care plans and life stories. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is engaged, empathetic, and has a genuine interest in working with people living with dementia and older adults with somatic illnesses. To succeed in this role, we see that you have the following qualifications: Education: We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and can provide a protected professional title. Language skills: You master Swedish in speech and writing well enough to communicate with residents, family members, and document according to applicable guidelines. You must demonstrate satisfactory results in our language assessment. IT and documentation: You have basic computer skills and experience with documentation in electronic health record systems, preferably Lifecare or similar. Driver's license: A class B driver's license is required given limited local transportation connections. Meritorious - Experience working within care and support Other information The position includes work during day, evening, and weekend shifts.
